Times Supermarkets Temporarily Pull Limu (OGO) Off Shelves

TIMES SUPERMARKETS TEMPORARILY PULL LIMU (OGO) OFF SHELVES

November 10th, Honolulu, Hawaii – Times Supermarkets, as courtesy to its shoppers, has temporarily removed all raw limu (ogo) from its wide selection of poke products. Shoppers may be aware that the state is investigating 14 cases of salmonella on Oahu that are believed to be linked to tainted limu from an Oahu seaweed farm. Although the product has not been officially recalled, the health and safety of Times’ shoppers is the company’s primary concern.

“With over 60 varieties of Hawaii’s favorite poke, we’re sure our customers will find something they’ll enjoy while the state concludes its investigation,” said Derek Iha, Director of Seafood for Times Supermarket.

Times pledges to keep customers informed though our Facebook page as we learn more about when the product will become available again. To like us please visit https://www.facebook.com/timessupermarkets/
