Shop and Score 2014 • Questions

How SHOP AND SCORE points are collected and allocated?
Each participating product purchased is equivalent to one point. When a customer designates a participating High School to a cashier when checking out, any participating products in that transaction is awarded to the designated High School.

At the end of the program period, each participating high school’s points are totaled and their percentage to the total number of points awarded (to all schools) is determined. Each school is then awarded a portion of the $250,000 in Adidas® equipment and uniforms based on the percentage of points they earned.

Each participating High School is guaranteed to receive a minimum of $500 in adidas equipment and uniforms. Thus, those schools with point percentages not high enough to earn them at least $500 will be awarded the difference to reach $500. The dollar amount used to make up the difference to ensure all schools earn $500 will then be subtracted from the total that all the other participating schools share.

Participating Schools also have the opportunity to earn points through American Savings Bank. 100 Shop and Score points will be awarded to a participating school for every Kalo Checking account opened during the program period. The customer opening the Kalo Checking account must designate a participating school of their choice during the process of opening the account. ASB keeps tally of the opened accounts that had a school designated and reports this figure weekly to Times Supermarket.  Times Supermarket then adds the additional points to each school’s total.

After each school’s dollar amount earned is determined, Sports Line fulfills the school’s order of Adidas® equipment and uniforms up to their earned amount.

Open to all high schools in Hawaii who registered by August 1, 2014. Late enrollment may be accepted, please reach us via contact form or send a message via our Facebook page.
